About Us
The Società Dante Alighieri of Vigo is a non-profit cultural association founded in 2020 with the goal of promoting Italian culture and language in Vigo and in Galicia.
We are part of the worldwide network of committees of the Società Dante Alighieri, founded in Rome in 1889 by a group of intellectuals led by Giosuè Carducci.

To promote Italian culture and language in Vigo through cultural activities and Italian courses.

PLIDA Certification
Obtain the official Italian certification recognized internationally. La Dante Vigo is an official examination center for the PLIDA certification (Progetto Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri).
The PLIDA certification accredits competence in Italian as a foreign language according to the levels established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
